Valerian! Man that keys me into my childhood. I've probably only read one of them, but it was a terrific story that took place on a space station full of weird aliens. All kinds of atmospheres and whatnot. It's stayed with me all these years. Where can I download that episode? :)

Sounds like Ambassador of Shadows which takes place on the Central Point station. That's indeed one of the best stories.

What the hell happened to being able to swap out the optical drive on a laptop for another battery or HD? I'm getting to the stage where it would be helpful to have a laptop for work, and I want lots of memory, fast CPU and fast storage, but I don't want a widescreen display or high-end graphics chipset and I don't give a shit about optical storage. It's so 90s.
